Partial Payment API integration
There are two ways of integrating partial payment via Gothia's API. To be approved for partial payment you need to approve the terms and conditions according to EU regulations and pay the minimum amount that is shown on the invoice. The approval of the terms and conditions can be made either at checkout or later at the Gothia customer webportal for terms and condition approval. For the latter the login username and password will be shown on the invoice.
If you decide to offer your customers partial payment you will need to present partial payment as a separate payment option at checkout. Though the same web services are requested as for normal invoices, you also have the option of requesting two other web services which get the terms and conditions and send approval for the partial payment.

Checkout process
a. The customer decides to make a purchase in the online store and moves to the checkout window.
b. The customer chooses the PayByBill partial payment option. The customer needs to enter their SocialSecurityNumber and Post code.
c. Confirmation of the order is made by pressing the Confirm button. There are now two scenarios:
1) Two requests are now made to Gothia - CheckCustomer and PlaceReservation. Approval of the terms and conditions for partial payment is made on the Gothia customer webportal. Login username and password is shown on the invoice together with minimum to pay amount.
2) Four requests are made to Gothia - Checkcustomer, GetAccountTermsAndConditions, AcceptAccountTermsAndConditions and PlaceReservation.
d. If Gothia accepted to finance the order the purchase is closed.Delivery process The delivery process is identical to invoice delivery process, except for the invoice layout. The partial payment invoice contains a text which differs depending on if the customer has approved the terms and conditions at checkout, if the customer has account from prior purchases etc. If Gothia produces the invoice you don't need to think about these texts, since Gothia places them on the invoice.
If you produce the invoice, you can either receive the texts via a webservice request or have the texts and logic on your site. To create an account at Gothia the customer also needs to pay the minimum to pay amount. The minimum to pay amount differs depending on the original amount of the invoice. Gothia will provide you with the minimum to pay amount or logic at startup. -
